Beginning
Instruction - 1 day
( 10am to 4pm) A full day of climbing instruction on the rocks
of Mount St. Helena or Sunset Rocks, the North Bay Areas premier climbing
area, from 10am to 4pm. By the day's end you'll be aquatinted with
everything from climbing terminology and safety procedures to knot
tying and belaying. HMA supplies rock shoes, harnesses and all technical
equipment needed for a safe and fun day out. An ideal course for
beginners and those who would like of a refresher.

Advanced
Climbing; Anchors, Safety and Rescue
Learn how to place protection and set up anchors for top rope climbing,
multi-pitch climbing and belay stations. In this course we will teach
you safety and rescue techniques, as well as how to use and tie the
different knots in ropes and webbing. All the equipment is provided
for this course designed for gym climbers and beginners who want to
move to the next level.

Bouldering
is a great way to climb with just a pair of shoes and chock bag. Learn
technique from the North Bay Areas best Boulders. Sunset Rocks is an
ideal place to learn the ropes of climbing without the ropes. Our professionals
